►  Kalahari-Oranje Museum

The Kalahari-Oranje Museum is housed in the buildings built by the Reverend Schröder in 1875 as a church and mission station.

►  Scotty Smith Grave

Buried in the old white cemetery is George St Leger Gordon Lennox, nicknamed Scotty Smith. The grave is promoted as a tourist attraction.

►  Police Camel memorial

It commemorates the South African Mounted Police and their use of Camels and is situated in Upington. It was unveiled on 29 April 1988.

►  Kokerboom Food and Wine Route

Attractions that can be found along the stretch of the Orange River.

►  Augrabies Falls

The Khoi people called it “Aukoerebis”, or place of Great Noise, as this powerful flow of water is unleashed from the Orange River Gorge.

►  Kgalagadi Transfrontier

Where the red dunes and scrub fade into infinity and herds of gemsbok, springbok, eland and blue wildebeest follow the seasons.

Die Mas is a tranquil destination on the Orange River bank in the town Kakamas, a mere 80km from Upington in the Northern Cape Province. This is where we grow our main crops of grapes.
